Fr. Christian Mathis
(Blessed Is the Kingdom) has made the suggestion that we "rest" on the Sabbath by taking a break from our normal blogging and sharing an older post of which we are particularly fond. Rest? Gladly! I don't get to do that very often, but now, thanks to Fr. Christian, I get to do it at least once a week -- and it gives me more time to spend with God, which is a wonderful gift.
For this week, I went back to the firstpost of this blog,
Awe, which was posted almost exactly one year ago. I hope it is enjoyable the second time around for those who have read it before and interesting the first time around for those who have not.
Dear Elizabeth: Thanks for sharing this poignant story. Now I'm curious: Do you still sit in the back, or have you moved closer to tha altar?
ReplyDeleteJesus said "Where two or three have gathered in my name, I'll be there." So, He is everywhere His followers gather.
I like to sit near the front to keep from getting distracted. I focus better near the front.
Love
Jen
